Interpreting services are required wherever people who do not speak the same languages need to communicate. In many situations, the presence of a sworn translator is not necessary; however, the status conveys good language skills and extensive professional experience.
Other situations, in particular in very official situations, for example at before a notary, in public offices, courts or during state examinations, the presence of a sworn translator is mandatory.
